Kristen Doute is back to Vanderpump Rules despite the whole drama going on between Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix. Three years ago, Doute was fired over a racially-charged incident. But thankfully, the actress will be gracing our screens soon.
Kristen Doute Appears To Be Filming For The Tenth Season Of Vanderpump Rules
The 40-year-old was captured by photographers filming for season 10 of the Vanderpump Rules. Doute was pictured outside Sandoval and Madix’s house wearing charcoal leggings, slides, and a cardigan with the inscription, “F**& Love”.
Per Hollywood Life, the TV star was spotted there not long after the news came up saying that the producers of Vanderpump Rules reached out to her to return, especially since she has been in the middle of the drama involving Sandoval and Madix.
Sandoval and Doute dated for about six years, not until their breakup in 2013. The duo (Sandoval and Doute) called it quits after Doute hooked up with a former Vanderpump Rules costar, Jax Taylor.
Following Tom Sandoval and Kristen Doute’s breakup in 2013, he started dating Madix in 2014. They dated for nine years until Sandoval’s affair with Leviss made the relationship hit the rocks.
However, Doute has been very supportive of Madix. She became close with her ex-boyfriend’s girlfriend throughout the period when Madix and Sandoval were still an item until now.
A source told People that Doute’s decision to return to the show is dependent on Madix. This means that she can only return to the show if Madix is comfortable with it and wants her to do it.
Doute Was Previously Fired Over Racially-Charged Incident
In 2020, the actress was fired alongside Stassi Schroeder, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni over an incident involving their former co-star, Faith Stowers.
Stowers claimed that Doute and Stassi called the cops on her because she is black. This is because she saw a DailyMail article about a different African-American woman who was involved in a crime.
Doute also addressed the incident saying that her actions were not racially driven.
Notwithstanding, she is now totally aware of how her privilege blinded her from seeing how law enforcement treats black people. Likewise, she is not oblivious to how dangerous her actions could have been.
