Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the royal couple who are all over the news for either all the right or all the wrong reasons, should be taking advice from Sharon Osbourne, according to Ozzy’s wife herself. This comes after Markle launched her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
After finding success representing her husband, Osbourne decided to launch Sharon Osbourne Management to take on other musicians as clients, such as Gary Moore, Motörhead, Lita Ford, and The Smashing Pumpkins. Clearly, she knows what she’s talking about.

It could work,” Osbourne said on TalkTV about Meghan Markle’s latest business venture. “I think they’ve got to stop making themselves so accessible.”
She continued, “It’s like, you know, they turn up the opening of an envelope, and I think that they’ve got to really pull back. Less is more, and I don’t think they’ve heard that.”
The Couple Have Tried Making Waves Before
This isn’t Harry and Meghan’s first shot at conquering Hollywood. The pair lost their Spotify partnership in 2020 and their Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan failed to attract a significant audience.
“Listen, I think so. I think that, you know, they’ve tried so many different things, you know, a production deal, their podcasts… Now they’re flogging household stuff,” Osbourne argued.
“I mean, what else are they going to do? They’ve tried a bit of everything, and nothing’s worked so far.”
Not much has been revealed about the brand outside of the knowledge that it will be lifestyle and cooking based. Markle has launched the brand’s social media and official website, but no products have been made available at the time of writing.
Back in February, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced in a statement that Meghan signed a deal with Lemonada Media to create a new, original podcast series. Lemonada will also be handling the first season of Markle’s Archetypes podcast in Spring 2024.
“Being able to support a female founded company with a roster of thought provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024,” the Duchess said in the statement. “Our plan to re-release ‘Archetypes’ so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast are well in the works.”
Markle joins Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Samantha Bee, among others, as part of Lemonada’s celebrity lineup.
