Dire Wolf Digital is releasing a new set of cards for their strategy card game Eternal. This will be the sixth edition and will include more than 200 new cards and some new mechanics.

Dark Frontier will feature three new mechanics when it releases next month. One of them is called Onslaught.

It activates only after you have attacked with one or any of your units in a turn. It’s designed for decks focused on being aggressive and attacking constantly.

One card the team showed off online is the seven fire sigil cost Aspect of Destruction. It has charge and Onslaught gives it the ability to ready your units to attack a second time.

Attacking with your units in combat, using a Killer ability, and even getting into the mix yourself with a relic weapon all count as attacks, so you have some options when it comes to just how you want to plan your offensive.”

For players who have been saving up their Influence, you can purchase special spoiler cards included in the Dark Frontier pack ahead of the release.

Spending 35,000 Influence will earn you a look at one card in the online Community Store.

Along with the announcement of their sixth set, the developers also handed out a free pack to those signed up for their newsletter.

The game constantly rewards players with decks and cards frequently and the team at Dire Wolf Digital are giving out a free pack in every newsletter email from here on out.

Dark Frontier will also mark the final Eternal Championship Qualifier for the 2019 season. You can get your hands on the new cards May 3rd when the ECQ: Dark Frontier event begins.

Participants have a chance to move on to the World Championship and play for $100,000.

ECQ: Dark Frontier ends May 5th.
