The large list of nominees for The Game Awards has just been released and runs the gamut from Triple-A blockbusters to small indie titles. Hosted and produced by industry veteran, Geoff Keighley, The Game Awards is mandated to recognize and uphold “creative and technical excellence in the global video game industry”. This year there are a couple of new categories for consideration like “Best Mobile Game”. “Best Ongoing Game” is a new category that recognizes and awards the steady stream of content that continues to be released long after a game’s launch date. Gamers can vote for their favorites for The Game Awards here!
