A couple vacationers were visiting Elk Lake in Oregon for a day trip. While there, they got out a drone so they could film their fun adventure. But a Karen decided to rain on their parade, immediately confronting them over their filming and escalating the situation.
Seth (@sethsteele33) started recording when he and his group of friends were confronted by a Karen while visiting a local lake. They immediately ask her what her problem is and why she walked up on them like that. She stands there, looking down at them and saying, “My problem is that I don’t want to be filmed.” They tell her to back off and that she won’t be filmed. One of Seth’s friends, “I’m only filming you because you’re threatening me.” The woman says she felt threatened when she saw them “filming her.” The group tries to explain that they weren’t filming her and can even show her the footage as proof.
The woman starts walking away and tells the group she has all their information. But then she starts walking back to the group and keeps it going. The friends tell her, “Remove yourself” and she gets in their faces. She keeps telling them that it’s a “public beach,” and they tell her, “Exactly!” They tell her that it’s public, so there should be no issue with them flying a drone around for their own entertainment. Eventually, the friend behind the camera tells them to stop engaging with her and to “walk away.”
Seth has since posted an update on the situation, saying he and his friends went back to their vehicle in the parking lot. The woman continued following them, harassing them and accusing them of capturing her on their drone video. They continue telling her, “It’s not illegal,” but she seems to think they broke a law. The conversation goes on for way too long, and they eventually call the police as a last-ditch effort to deal with the problem. They tell police that this woman is threatening them over the videos. The video ends, so we don’t know whether police showed up.

You can film whatever you want. If she doesn’t want to be filmed, she can leave.” Another pointed out that she didn’t want to be filmed but “now she’s in two lengthy videos going viral on TikTok.” One commenter added, “She just can’t seem to let it go!
