A new month brings us a whole new lineup of free PlayStation Plus games! For March 2019, PlayStation is offering up two stellar games for free with a PlayStation Plus subscription. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and The Witness are the two games that are available all throughout March.

PlayStation Plus

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is likely the most tantalizing game between the two depending on preference. Coming out in 2016 alongside Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, there’s a good chance many people skipped out on the stellar remaster of this all-time classic game. Modern Warfare Remastered is a textbook study in how to do a remaster, completely rebuilding and redesigning assets to give the game a completely modern look. The campaign in Modern Warfare still holds up as not only one of the best Call of Duty campaigns of all time, but one of the best single player experiences across any genre. If you haven’t gotten the chance to play it after all these years, now may be your best shot at jumping in through PlayStation Plus.

The second game available via a PlayStation Plus subscription is the fantastic puzzler, The Witness. A game from the mind of Jonathan Blow, the maker of Braid, The Witness challenges players through increasingly difficult maze-like puzzles. The game seems simple at first but will eventually have even the most experienced puzzlers scratching their heads as the elementary puzzles become more and more obtuse. It’s a game that definitely isn’t for everyone, but when it’s free, you might as well give it a shot!

PlayStation Plus

This is the first month that PlayStation Plus has gone from 6 total titles down to two. Previously, two PS3 and PSVita games would be available alongside the two PS4 games. If March’s free PlayStation Plus games are any indication, it may seem that going down to two titles has allowed PlayStation to up the quality of the PS4 games that they are able to provide for free.

Which PlayStation Plus game are you most excited for? Leave a comment below and tell us what you think!
