The 12-second trailer, which can be seen below, is a milestone celebration that we only have to wait 100 more days before Endgame’s release.
Touted for April 26th, Avengers: Endgame is the sequel to 2018’s Infinity War. Considering the cliff hanger Infinity War finished on, fans will no doubt be itching to see this awaited sequel as soon as possible.
Whilst not revealing anything new, we do get to see fan-favorite characters like Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) all featured. This promo can be considered more of a well-designed PR tool to initiate discussion than an actual trailer to show off the film.
There’s no doubt that you can expect much more of this as we get closer to the film’s release. Marvel will want to do everything possible to build hype up so further trailers and promotional events are things to look forward to. I only hope they don’t go down the route of so many modern films and show all the best parts before it’s even been released.
Endgame will be an emotional experience for many as it is expected to be one of Stan Lee’s final cameo appearances. The legendary comic book writer, responsible for several hugely successful series including Spider-Man, X-Men and The Incredible Hulk. tragically passed away last November. He was well known for making a wide variety of cameo appearances across many Marvel films. SuperHeroesEvolution put together a fantastic tribute on YouTube that documents all these cameos from 1989 to 2018.
