Since November 2022, Adele has been performing in Las Vegas as part of her Weekends with Adele residency. On August 25, the “Hello” singer paused her latest show to share some kind words for Miley Cyrus’ new single. Adele was sitting at her piano when she told fans that she listened to “Used To Be Young” for the first time that morning. “I am obsessed with Miley Cyrus’ new song. Does anybody know it?” she asked the audience, who cheered in response. “I’ve always been a big Miley Cyrus fan.”
Adele continued by saying that she has “such a soft spot” for Cyrus’ latest album, Endless Summer Vacation, and especially her new song. “[It] might make me tear up now. I absolutely love it. I think it’s amazing,” she said. “She’s such a legend. I love her.”
The “Easy On Me” singer still has around 21 concerts left before she wraps up Weekends with Adele. The residency will conclude on November 4, almost exactly one year after Adele kicked off her shows on November 18, 2022. It was initially supposed to kick off last January but had to be delayed due to COVID-related issues. Despite its rocky start, Adele’s concerts have since become a huge success, with Adele reportedly making around $2 million per show.
