Angelina Jolie is generating a lot of Oscar buzz around her role in the biopic about the iconic opera singer Maria Callas. She’s been busy promoting the film, which could earn her a second Academy Award. This week was no different. The actress was photographed as she headed to a screening and question and answer session for the film in Beverly Hills. At the event, Jolie opted for a classy, business-like look.
The Daily Mail reports that Angelina Jolie used a white suit to cover up her 20 tattoos as she sported her professional garbs. The Taking Lives star sported a pair of white slacks with a crease down the center. She added a sheer top, which was mostly covered by an oversized blazer. The pants fell to her ankles and showed off her open-toe wedge shoes.
Jolie accessorized the look with minimal jewelry. She wore a studded earring set and simple gold bangle bracelets on her wrist. Her long, blonde hair was parted to the side and styled in soft, loose waves that curled at the end. The locks flowed over her shoulder and down her back as she posed for photos.

Angelina also decided on a minimal makeup look. Although she sported bright red lips, she also wore a light coverage on her face, complete with a pale pink blush. She added black eyeliner and thick lashes as well.
“She is covering her emaciated veiny arms and legs, as always,” one person commented of Jolie’s look.
“She looks beautiful but very fragile,” stated another.
“This woman needs help. She is sickly thin and gaunt looking,” a third person wrote.
“This outfit is unflattering, but she looks pretty good for her age,” read a fourth comment.
Angelina Jolie’s film, Maria, included a stellar cast and crew, including director Pablo Larrain, who previously worked on two other biopics about Jackie Kennedy and Princess Diana.
The movie depicts Maria Callas’ final days in 1970s Paris as she walks down memory lane to sort out the events of her life.
However, the film may have taken a toll on Jolie. Radar Online previously reported that the actress’ loved ones are fearing that she may be working too hard and it’s taking a “heavy toll on her health.”
“Angelina puts so much of herself into her roles that she’s often left completely exhausted at the end of filming, and especially one so arduous as portraying Maria Callas,” an insider dished.
In addition to her work schedule, the actress has also been dealing with personal struggles. Her battle with her former husband, Brad Pitt, has been ongoing for years. Her son, Pax, also recently crashed his bike and suffered a scary injury. So, things have been quite hectic for her over the past year.
Of course, if Angelina Jolie can pull off an Oscar win, the hard work she put into her latest project may seem well worth it. However, it seems that fans are hoping she’ll take care of her health as well.
