Jennifer Lopez has everyone convinced that she’ll soon be divorcing husband Ben Affleck. The 55-year-old singer has not been spotted with her actor husband in approximately two months, with this week seeing her make a massive gesture by removing her wedding ring while out in public.
As the 2022-married couple seems headed for divorce with their $68 million mansion for sale, fans are likely looking back at the old photos. In December 2023, a fan account on Instagram shared paparazzi snaps of Jennifer and Ben in St.Barts, with a caption stating it was a “heated discussion” situation. Placing his hands on Lopez’s upper body, Batman star Ben appeared affectionate, likely what prompted another user to reply that it was because no-one was “watching.”

Spotted at high-end jewelry store Bulgari, Jen and Ben made headlines for both their PDA and what appeared to be an argument.
Looking stylish as she flaunted her fit figure, JLo rocked a sleeveless crop top in white, flashing her abs in her backless number and going billowing in a baby pink skirt. Wearing shades and letting her locks fall loose, the Atlas star had Ben grabbing her shoulders as the two smooched, although further moments left fans wondering what was going on.
Some images showed Affleck placing his hands to his head, almost as if in despair. The IG crowd, however, was seemingly eyeing up the Good Will Hunting actor unable to keep his hands off his wife. “Nobody’s watching us,” one fan wrote.
Divorce Papers ‘Finalized’
Just last week, The Daily Mail reported that JLo and Ben’s divorce papers were “finalized,” but that the couple hasn’t yet officially submitted anything.
“They finalized the divorce papers with her a month ago, but are waiting for the right time to drop them,” the insider claimed, adding:
“I will say how they have much love for each other and how they fought to make it work, but couldn’t. Honestly, in the end they could not come to a compromise. What they had before is gone and they have both accepted it.”
Having lived in his rental home for weeks, Ben finally bought a $20.5 million mansion last week, doing so the same day as JLo completed the sale on an NYC property she owns. The couple spent their second wedding anniversary apart last month, also choosing not to be together for the Fourth of July.
Jennifer, who has been married four times, has so far refused to comment on allegations that her marriage is over.
