Ben Affleck can’t seem to escape his former wives. The actor recently showed up to an event at his children’s school alongside his first wife, Jennifer Garner. The pair may have divorced back in 2018, but they’ve remained close as they co-parent their three kids, Violet, Fin, and Samuel. Meanwhile, the star’s estranged wife, Jennifer Lopez, also showed up to the event on her own just weeks after filing for divorce from Affleck. While the event could have been awkward, it likely wasn’t a big deal for the trio as they’ve been put in similar situations in the past.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner came to the event together with their child, Fin. Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez attended with her child, Emme, and some other guests, per In Touch Weekly. The Gone Girl star kept his casual for the outing, sporting jeans and a jacket. Garner mimicked the look with a sweater, jeans, and black boots. Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez showed up in her usual glam look, sporting a gray jumpsuit and nude heels.
Ben Affleck Attends Same Event As Former Wives Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez
Of course, fans had plenty to say about Affleck attending the same event with Garner and JLo.
“The Jennifers look happy and he looks miserable per usual,” one person wrote on Reddit.
“We need to stop painting a woman as alone just because she’s not publicly tied to a man lol wtf do we do that,” said another.
“Much respect for them all being active parents. It’s refreshing to see in Hollywood,” a third person stated.
“It’s super creepy,” a fourth person pointed out of the paparazzi snapping photos of the stars outside their kids’ school.
Affleck’s close co-parenting relationship with Garner has been well-documented over the years. The duo are often seen spending time together. Meanwhile, he and JLo are also seemingly on good terms despite navigating their divorce. Just days after the singer filed documents to end the marriage, the pair were spotted taking their blended family out for brunch.
It seems that Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, and Jennifer Garner are all able to be mature enough to spend time together without making it a huge problem for their children. Despite their marriages not working out, they’re doing what’s best for their families.
