The spotlight has been on Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s relationship for several months now, as speculation continues about the status of their marriage and whether they are headed for divorce. But if they do split, not everyone will be unhappy because a recent report claims that the singer’s inner circle is not exactly big fans of Affleck.
In addition to the people who reportedly don’t like Affleck is Lopez’s manager, Benny Medina. “The two of them can’t stand each other. They don’t get along, and there’s still bad blood,” an insider told Page Six. Fans who are familiar with Lopez and Affleck’s relationship will remember that before they rekindled their romance, they were engaged in November 2002. They would later call off their engagement, but before they did, Lopez is reported to have fired Medina in 2003, and Page Six claims that Affleck was part of that decision.
Following her first split from the actor in 2004, Lopez hired Medina back. When they got back together, he learned not to say anything, and a source claims Medina “kept his mouth shut.”

The source continued, “His attitude was, ‘I’m gonna say nothing.’ [There] was no, ‘Good for you,’ but also, [he] wasn’t negative. He knows her, and he knew she was going to marry him no matter what, so what’s the point?”
Another source also weighed in on the couple and how Affleck has not exactly won everyone over. “No one, except [Lopez’s] mother, likes Ben Affleck. He’s a triple-A a**hole,” the second source claimed.
These comments don’t exactly paint a picture of one big, happy family. The publication has also noted how Lopez reportedly cut off her longtime BFF, Leah Remini, because she had questions about her relationship with Affleck.
