Beyonce and Jay-Z divorce rumors are heating up now that the rapper has been accused of a shocking sexual assault crime. The musical power couple have found themselves at the center of multiple scandals in the past. However, this time it’s more serious than ever. Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, has been accused of raping at 13 year old girl alongside disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs back in 2000.
According to The U.S. Sun, the alleged attack was said to have occurred after the 2000 MTV VMAs after-party in New York. The lawsuit was first filed against Diddy. However, it was re-filed to include Jay-Z as an attacker as well. The lawsuit also claims an unidentified female celebrity was in the room during the attack. With all of the drama now surrounding Jay-Z it seems that that scandal will bleed over onto Beyonce as she’s set to make some big career moves.
The singer was set to sing during a Christmas Day NFL halftime show later this month. She’s also has a new album to announce and a big stadium tour that is reportedly in the works. However, all of that may be up in the air now due to the latest Jay-Z allegations.

Meanwhile, fans have been speculating that Beyonce and Jay-Z have been on the rocks for years. She even referenced his infidelity on her Lemonade album.
“This divorce is a sure thing. He’s dragged her down for the last time. How can she be a powerful female inspiration and let a man continue to disrespect her like this?” one person commented via Reddit.
“I’m saying even if nothing comes of this and he never gets convicted she’ll leave him,” another predicted.
“She’d get a lot in the divorce. If this news severely tanks Jay-Z it might be her best financial move anyway,” a third person wrote.
Through it all, Bey has stood by her man, and appears to be doing so for the time being. Just one day after the allegations hit the internet, the couple joined their oldest daughter, Blue Ivy, on the red carpet and were the picture of a united family.
Jay-Z has maintained his innocence in the matter. He even released a statement claiming he’s been at the center of a “blackmail attempt.” He also admitted that he’s deeply upset about how the allegations will impact his children, especially Blue Ivy.
