Spears made a post on Instagram recently and instead of posting a picture of herself or a quote, like she normally does, she shared an image of a shredded cheese brand, Tillamook’s Mexican Blend. The cheese blend has the slogan, “There’s no stopping this topping.” In the caption, she shared her thoughts (and offered a small glimpse into why she posted the picture). “When people say let’s celebrate love and freedom this year … I prefer to just f***!!!” she wrote, followed by an emoji with a girl’s hand in the air.

Unsurprisingly, she chose to turn off the comments on the post, so we haven’t been able to gauge the reaction, but it has become the inspiration for a few jokes on X (formerly Twitter). “My theory is that the Britney Spears Tillamook cheese post is actually what crashed all the servers,” a comment reads. “Britney Spears introducing the phrase ‘there’s no stopping to this topping’ to her fans via Instagramming a shredded cheese bag, oh what has she done?,” another shared.
Other comments include, “What a shoutout to Oregon’s Tillamook cheese from Britney Spears,” “Why am I getting an IG ad for cheese? Oh never mind, it’s Britney Spears posting,” and “Obsessed with this enigmatic Britney Spears post. Why the Cheese.”
Yep, this is one of the weirdest posts ever, but it’s a great promotion for Tillamook cheese, and it’s given us all something to wonder about!
