Chanel West Coast got caught out with her big mistake on Instagram last week, but the mood was good as she admitted to the error after a fan offered to help out. Shortly before the weekend, the 35-year-old MTV alum updated her account with a slow-motion beach walk as part of mash-up footage promoting her Coasty Swim line, and it was bombshell vibes galore as she showed off her post-baby figure in her designs.
Promising fans a new drop for a June 28th “pre-order,” Chanel got busy showing off the girly bathing suits her 2022-founded brand offers, but it looks like she made a mistake with her dates.
Chanel West Coast Shows Instagram Her Coasty Swim
Sharing shorefront footage that kicked off with models, Chanel eventually appeared in a pastel pink and blue two-piece as she went bandeau-style from a swimming pool. All golden tan as she flashed her curves and showed off her toned tummy, the Ridiculousness alum sizzled in the sun before switching to the frilly, candy-pink bathing suit she recently promoted on her IG.
Leaving the best until last, Chanel dropped jaws in a cut-out, printed one-piece in pale blue and pink, sashaying slowly toward the camera as she exited the ocean while wearing a cute pink sarong. Showing off her abs and curvy hips, the mom of one wowed as her hair blew around her, completing her glam beach look with a pair of shades. “New @coastyswim collection available for pre-order 6/28! Shop now at coastyswim.com,” a caption read.
Clearing Up Mistake That Fan Spotted
Chanel may have edited her caption since the fan interaction that’s still live in the comments.
Spotting the details, the user wrote: “Just so you know, Chanel, the 28th of July is on Sunday, not Thursday.” Noting the comment, Chanel quickly replied: “It’s Thursday July 18th!!” Sending love, the fan responded: “Oh. Okay. I’m just helping you out, that’s all.”
Others, meanwhile, sent love, with many praising Chanel for her fierce figure. In November 2022, shortly after the launch of Coasty Swim, the rapper welcomed her first child, a girl named Bowie Breeze.
West Coast may face competition from established celebrity swimwear designers including Kim Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski, but she’s revealed that her eco-friendly brand has an edge. In a statement, the Miami-based sensation shared:
“We promote body positivity and our swimwear is meant to enhance your body no matter the shape or size. Coasty Swim is all about bringing the good vibes and we hope to reach every coastline around the world with our brand soon.”
Chanel is followed by 3.8 million on Instagram.
