After the accusations being thrown around about Jay-Z and Diddy back in 2000 that detail them sexually assaulting a minor after the MTV VMAs, it’s no surprise that more accusations are coming to light and following Diddy behind bars. A woman, LaTroya Grayson, filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs that claims she was “drugged and raped” at one of his parties in 2006 after winning a radio contest.
LaTroya Grayson has a sibling who won a contest through KJAMZ, which was a radio station local to where she lived back in 2006. The contest included a round-trip flight to New York City, a hotel room, the option to bring a guest, and access to one of Diddy’s “White Parties” in NYC. Since her sibling had won the contest, they brought her along with, and things seemed to go downhill from there.
Coming forward with her claims, Grayson explained how her and her sibling were separated when they arrived at Diddy’s “White Party,” which had then been turned to a “Black Party.” Grayson got inside the party, but her sibling wasn’t able to. While inside, she had mentions having a couple of “premade drinks,” according to TMZ, after which she didn’t feel the greatest and went to use the restroom. From that point on, Grayson had no memory of what happened for the rest of the night, but remembered waking up in a hospital with torn clothing, no underwear, and lacking most of her belongings and money. She had quickly gone home and urged not to pursue any legal action against Combs, since he was famous, and she would just be “wasting her time.”
Earlier this afternoon, Diddy’s lawyer released a statement to TMZ. “Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone or engaged in sex trafficking. Ms. Grayson admits she has no memory of the vents alleged in her complain, does not know who was supposedly involved, and has never spoken to Mr. Combs. Her allegations against him are pure fiction. As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every baseless lawsuit and lawyer-driven money grab. He has faith in the judicial process, in which fact will be separated from opportunistic fabrications like these.”
While Combs’ lawyer seems hell-bent on ensuring the public doesn’t believe these allegations, it seems the things Diddy has been caught doing are swaying people in the other direction. Diddy’s in trouble for some serious crimes, which do include potential sex trafficking and sexual assault. It wouldn’t be so far out of the ball park to assume that Ms. Grayson might be right in her claims.
