What’s more, Garon expressed deep sadness over the news of Joe and Turner’s divorce. In a recent conversation with TMZ, the Elvis impersonator revealed he was “shocked, heartbroken, and distraught” that Joe filed for a divorce.
Garon explained to the outlet that he initially thought Joe and Turner’s divorce was a joke because it came out of nowhere. He said the estranged couple dated for three years before exchanging wedding vows. Hence, he believed the union would last. Garon further shared that the divorce made him wonder if the singer tried to make the marriage work, as four years was a very short time. Garon even said he planned on seeing Joe at the upcoming Jonas Brothers concert in Las Vegas. He said he planned to give the musician a memento from the wedding — the ring pop wrapper from the ring Joe gave Turner. Unfortunately, Garon’s plan fell through. But despite everything that has happened, the Elvis impersonator wants the public to desist from blaming Joe for the marriage’s end.
Joe Jonas Files Petition for Marriage Dissolution
Joe filed for a divorce from his estranged wife on Tuesday in Miami-Dade County, Florida. According to the court documents, the songwriter claimed the marriage was irretrievably broken. However, sources close to Joe alleged that a ring camera was part of his decision to file the petition. According to the insiders, the camera captured Turner saying or doing something that made Joe realize the marriage was over. However, the video’s content was not revealed.
On Wednesday, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas took to social media to address the divorce news. In a joint Instagram statement, the duo confirmed their split, adding that it was a mutual decision. They ended by noting that while there were many narratives about the divorce, they would like the public to respect their decision and give the family privacy. In the meantime, Joe and Turner remain focused on co-parenting amicably.
