Eva Longoria looked trendy and sporty as she slipped her curves into a flirty black tennis dress in July, but she only wound up shamed as fans viewed the photos. Enjoying a stroll in Malaga, Spain and accompanied by husband José Bastón, the 49-year-old proved she’s still got it in her thigh-skimming number, but a mention of her being “leggy” by The Daily Mail resulted in chaos.
As users, by the masses, challenged the outlet’s description of Eva, fans also took to body-shaming her, with a popular comment telling the Desperate Housewives star that her dress was “far too tight.” Eva has since made headlines for stunning at Vogue: World alongside a series of glamorous dress looks at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
Eva Longoria Turns Heads In Tiny Tennis Dress
Flaunting her petite frame in the Mediterranean sunshine, Eva sizzled in a minuscule tennis dress as she channeled casual daywear vibes.
Displaying her shapely legs in her skintight, sleeveless number, the TV star added a pair of comfy white sneakers, also further accessorizing her dress via a cross-body bag in black. Keeping glam in dark shades while wearing a straw sunhat, Eva rocked her dark locks down, adding discreet elegant touches from a stud pair of earrings.
Linking arms with her husband in some photos, Eva also flaunted her muscular back in a rearview snap, one showing a criss-cross design at the back, plus an Alo Yoga logo. The couple was photographed around the Cathedral de Malaga as they enjoyed some sightseeing. In 2023, Eva and her husband permanently relocated to Marbella, Spain.
Told Dress Is Way ‘Too Tight’
Topping replies and shaming Eva en route, a user wrote: “The adjective “leggy” cannot be applied to someone who is 5’2″. Elle Macpherson is 6′, Gisele Bundchen is 5’11” … they are leggy.”
Others also pointed out that Eva was, in their eyes, too short to be “putting on a leggy display,” but some took things a little farther. “The dress is far too tight,” one fan wrote, and over 50 users upvoted the comment. “Another middle-aged woman who can’t age gracefully” was yet another shaming remark.
Fans have proven more supportive on Instagram, where Eva is followed by over 10 million. In July, the actress flashed her mega-watt smile while sizzling in a cut-out red dress for another Gala night. She wrote:
“What an incredible night we had at the 12th @globalgiftfoundation Gala Marbella. So happy to be with my family again in Marbella where it all started! Fills my heart to be surrounded by everyone committed to our charitable causes.”
