Earlier this month, Nina Dobrev shared with her fans that she had undergone surgery after a biking accident, and she’s not the only celebrity to have been seriously injured. Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay recently took to social media to share his injuries from an accident with fans, and it looks like he is in a world of pain.
The chef admitted that the accident, which occurred on his travels in Connecticut, “really shook him,” and he claimed he is “lucky to be here” as he credited his helmet with saving his life. “Honestly, you’ve got to wear a helmet. I don’t care how short the journey is.” Safety is incredibly important, and while the helmet may have prevented a head injury, Ramsay still walked away with massive bruising on his stomach and ribs.
He admitted to being in pain and that he had experienced a “brutal week” but remained in positive spirits as he claimed he was “getting through it.”
“I’m doing ok and did not break any bones or suffer any major injuries, but I am a bit bruised up looking like a purple potato,” Ramsay confessed and thanked the medical professionals who helped treat him.
