Unlike many movie theater patrons, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck made certain to tidy their seats before leaving a Dune: Part Two screening in Los Angeles. The Hollywood A-listers blended in with the everyday civilians, but the most surprising aspect of the night is Bennifer’s display of proper etiquette.
Some other theatergoers captured a video of Affleck and Lopez giving their seats a once-over before heading out to the atrium. They can be seen cleaning up soda cups and popcorn buckets, although the latter seems largely untouched. Are they planning to finish that? Because if not…
The couple seemed to remain inconspicuous throughout the screening, as the owner of the video stated that the “post credits scene” was discovering Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck right under their nose the whole time.
The sequel to Dune stars Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya as Paul Atreides and Chani, respectively, who join forces to exact revenge on the conspirators who ruined Paul’s family.
Director Denis Villeneuve has indicated that a third film could be in the works depending on the success of Dune: Part Two. According to Variety, Hans Zimmer has begun composing the music for a trilogy after Villeneuve placed a copy of Dune Messiah, one of the many novels, which was released in 1969.
As for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, the former is working as an executive producer on several upcoming titles, whereas J-Lo recently released her album This Is Me… Now and the corresponding romantic drama film.
They will be working together again for biographical sports drama Unstoppable, based on American wrestler Anthony Robles. Affleck is set to produce while Lopez portrays Judy Robles, the wife of Anthony.
But even with their hectic schedules, they still remember to clean up after themselves in the movie theater. Maybe we could all learn a lesson or two from Bennifer.
