Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler paired up once again for their new Netflix film Murder Mystery. The co-star recently attended the premiere for the movie dropping on March 31. However, the Mother’s Day star protested over Adam Sandler’s fashion choice and refused to stand beside him. Get the details below.
Jennifer Aniston Criticizes Adam Sandler’s Fashion Choice
On Tuesday, Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler walked the red carpet at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles.
While on the carpet, Jennifer gave her longtime pal and co-star, Adam Sandler, her honest opinion about his dress sense. She also refused to stand next to him.
The We’re the Millers star was taken back to see Adam on the carpet in a sweatshirt. However, in the comedian’s defense, a sweatshirt is not out of the norm of his typical laid-back style.
“What the hell are you doing?! Jennifer screamed while speaking to ET. “I’m not standing next to him. Sweatpants.”
When asked about the fashion choice, Adam claimed Jennifer encouraged it.
“You said it, you texted me, ‘Please wear your sweatshirt,'” the Just Go With It star said. However, Jennifer, dressed in a hand-beaded gown, immediately fired a rebuttal. “I said, ‘Please don’t wear your sweatshirt,”
Despite their back and forth over Adam Sandler’s fashion choice, Adam eventually planted a cheek on his co-star’s face.
Jennifer Aniston Is Ready For Murder Mystery 3
Away from Adam Sandler’s fashion choice, Jennifer said she’s all for a third part of Murder Mystery if it continues.
“I’ll take it,” the Good Girl actress said about a possible third film in the series. As for her casting wish list, Jennifer told the outlet that she hadn’t thought that one out just yet.
Meanwhile, Jennifer and Adam recently suggested having Drew Barrymore join them for a Three’s Company remake.
Murder Mystery 2 sees Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler back to crack another case. The couple, Nick and Audrey Spitz, find themselves at the center of an international investigation when a friend is abducted.
Although fans want more of the duo on screen, Jennifer said it all depends on Murder Mystery 2‘s reception.
“It depends on how everybody responds to this film,” the He’s Just Not That Into You actress said. And if they enjoy themselves and had a good time, Netflix will hopefully say, ‘Yep.'”
Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler’s camaraderie is cute as the two remain friends after decades of acting together. Hopefully, fans will see more of their chemistry on screen with more movie collaborations.
