Jennifer Garner Stares Lovingly at Ben Affleck During Sweet Family Outing as He’s ‘Finally Seen Laughing’ Amid Chaotic JLo Drama

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck may no longer be married, but they have a bond that will last a lifetime. The famous pair were married for 10 years before calling it quits in 2015. However, their still in full family mode as they share three children together, Violet, Fin, and Samuel. This means that they spend plenty of time together as they reunite often for family events such as Violet’s recent high school graduation.

This week, Ben Affleck met up with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, yet again. The duo met up with their children as the family dropped Violet off at college. However, that wasn’t the end of the story. Affleck appeared to as happy as ever with his children and former wife in tow. The family shared dinner together and the actor was photographed lovingly embracing his children during the outing, per The Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, Garner was seen looking lovingly at her kids, as well at Affleck, during their sweet family trip to Connecticut. Body language expert Judi James claims that it’s obvious Garner has a lot of love for her former husband. However, that doesn’t mean that there is anything romantic left between them.

Instead, James claims that Affleck’s happier demeanor could be the result of feeling safe in the presence of his original family unit amid his rumored marriage issues with his wife, Jennifer Lopez.

“This is common behavior when there’s problems in a second marriage and the first family unit can suddenly seem like a comfortably familiar and seemingly non-judgmental refuge,” James stated. “Jennifer’s body language seems to send out signals of approval and even pride in her ex Ben here.

We’ve seen him looking surly, bored, frustrated and irritable recently but here he is finally seen grinning, laughing,” the expert added.

Meanwhile, despite Jennifer Lopez‘s close relationship with Ben Affleck’s children, she was left out of the family trip amid rumors that she and Affleck are on the rocks. Instead, she was spotted in Los Angeles looking downcast during a solo outing. All the while, Jennifer Garner was in full mom mode as she said goodbye to her oldest child for the time being.
