Jennifer Lawrence is well aware of the plastic surgery rumors. In a conversation with Kylie Jenner for Interview magazine, the No Hard Feelings actress said that she’s seen people online accuse her of having gone under the knife. However, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Lawrence explained that her new look all comes down to two things: Hung Vanngo’s brilliant makeup techniques and aging.

While interviewing Jenner, Lawrence brought up the topic of plastic surgery rumors when discussing the power of makeup. The actress noted that Jenner helped bring “contouring lips into the mainstream.” When she questioned the makeup mogul about what inspired her to start using the technique, Jenner said that she wanted to give the “illusion that I had fuller lips.”
Lawrence said it’s “incredible” how much makeup can make a person look different. For example, her makeup artist, Hung Vanngo, has done such an amazing job with her that she’s been wrapped up in plastic surgery rumors. However, she denied having undergone any cosmetic procedures.
I work with Hung [Vanngo], who overlines the lip, and I call him a plastic surgeon, because everybody in the last few months since I’ve been working with him is convinced that I had eye surgery.

Jenner said that she’s had a similar experience. While she admitted she’s gotten lip fillers, she said she’s never gone under the knife, either. However, people constantly accuse her of getting plastic surgery because she looks so different than she did as a kid. Jenner said she got her new look due to contouring and filling her eyebrows “differently.” Plus, her face has naturally changed over time.

Lawrence also clapped back at the plastic surgery rumors by crediting her new look to aging. The actress said she doesn’t look the same as she did at 19 because she naturally “lost baby weight” in her face as she grew older. Despite the rumors she’s gotten a nose job, Lawrence said she’s had the “exact same nose” as she did as a teenager.
So, there you have it. Neither Lawrence nor Jenner have gotten plastic surgery.
