Jessica Simpson is all about the donuts on Instagram as she continues to see fans worrying about her weight. The 43-year-old actress and fashion mogul has made headlines throughout this year as her followers deem her too skinny, but she seemed to be eyeing up sweet treats in a recent post.
Jessica posted to IG on November 2 and with a fun, open-mouthed snap. Holding up a mug with a donut-shaped hole in it, the Dukes of Hazzard star appeared to be at VooDoo Doughnuts, where she clearly made the most of the famous joint for a photo op.
Jessica Simpson Shows Donut Love On Instagram
Low-key showing off her trim frame, Jessica posed looking surprised and with her mouth wide open while holding up a pink mug. Posing from inside the venue, the mom of three rocked a high-neck, black ribbed sweater, and a loose white top beneath, also going skintight with a pair of black latex pants.
Sporting her signature blonde locks down, Jessica completed her stylish look with pearl stud earrings, a black leather shoulder bag, plus a warming face of makeup complete with matte foundation and a cute pink lip.
Donuts Vibes Amid Concerns For Her Weight
In a caption using a donut emoji, Jessica told fans: “The Magic Is In The Hole 🍩.”
“Voodoo doughnuts are the best!” one fan replied. “Love Voodoo🍩 This looks like the Nashville airport to me, I was just there a few days ago” another said.
Jessica had made March headlines as friends of hers were reportedly “worried” that she’d taken her 100-pound weight loss too far. The star dropped the weight in 2019 after welcoming their third baby Birdie Mae.
“Her clothes hang off her and her cheeks are sunken. She doesn’t even look like herself anymore,” a friend dished, adding: “Jessica’s naturally curvy. It doesn’t seem healthy for her to be so thin.” Meanwhile, Jessica’s Instagram fans have been commenting on her weight these past months. Replies to the star’s posts often see fans asking if she’s okay or whether she’s eating properly.
Simpson has since spoken out to address the issue. “My kids see me being still scrutinized and it’s very confusing to them because they’re like, ‘I don’t even understand this. Why don’t they just say you look pretty, Mom? You look pretty,’” she shared in August of this year.
