Singer Joe Jonas is feeling pretty salty over his ex-wife Sophie Turner‘s new relationship. He believes she is purposely trying to get under his skin. Even Joe’s friends think something is up with her recent public PDA and excessive gushing. But some of his fans do not agree.
When Joe Jonas filed for divorce from his wife, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, in September 2023, he didn’t expect her to move on from him so fast. However, one month later, she was caught on camera in a heavy makeout session with Peregrine Pearson in Paris.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ divorce was final in September, and once again, just a month later, Sophie hit Joe with another dagger. Over the weekend, Sophie went Instagram official with Peregrine, wishing him a Happy 30th Birthday and sharing several loved-up couple photos of them over the past year.
The Work It Out singer finds Sophie’s announcement insulting and hurtful. Sources close to Joe tell the Daily Mail that the singer is angry about the announcement. He feels she was trying to get under Joe’s skin, and from the sound of it, it looks like it has done just that.
Jonas allegedly felt Sophie really ‘twisted the knife‘ in his back. He felt the timing of it was insensitive and too soon.
“Joe feels like Sophie’s over-the-top birthday love post for Peregrine “her angel” is a slap in the face, considering she’s been with him since the moment Joe filed for divorce.”

“Joe is trying to play it off as it comes and not get into it, as it will ultimately turn against him if he reacts. He wants to continue to be the bigger man. He wants to be a great dad and hopes they can eventually get to a place where it isn’t one ordeal after another.”
The couple has had some nasty confrontations over where their children will live. After months of mediation, it was determined the children would spend equal time in the US And The UK.
Some Joe Jonas fans are unhappy with Joe’s attitude. One fan writes, “He is playing the victim looking for sympathy, and that needs to stop.”
Another adds, “He’s the one who filed for divorce. It’s been a year since they separated already. He didn’t think he was twisting the knife when he was on a boat with half-naked women just days after he filed for divorce.”
“The divorce may have only been finalized last month, but he initiated proceedings over a year ago. Five minutes later, he was seen with an IG model all over him, so he has no room to whine and get salty about what the woman he blindsided with divorce does now that she is happy. He is bitter.
