According to The New York Post, Justin’s emotional outburst and violent reaction towards an over-enthusiastic fan have sparked controversy and divided opinions, potentially impacting his career and personal life.
Justin Timberlake was caught on camera during his performance. He is seen aggressively slapping away the hand of an out-of-control fan, who reaching out to grab his arm. The starstruck fan reportedly meant the singer no harm and appeared to try and touch the star’s jacket when Justin snapped.
Fans Blast Justin Timberlake For Over-Reacting
Justin Timberlake reportedly immediately looked down at the fan and was visibly angry. He then violently slapped the fan’s hand away so hard that security also stepped in. Some fans immediately begin to blast the singer’s actions on social media.
“Omg last time I saw a hand swat like that was when I took one too many cookies and my grandma caught me,” stated one shocked fan.
Another replied: “He’s an ass like every other celebrity. Don’t want to be touched stay out of the crowd. He knows….”
One fan rushed to Justin Timberlake’s defense, writing, “Why would you even try and touch someone without their permission?” Some even suggested that Justin is stressed out over his recent DWI arrest and marital problems. That could be true about his marriage issues. However, the fan slap occurred on June 14, and Justin was arrested on June 18.
Following his arrest, Justin Timberlake took to the stage during his Chicago tour stop, acknowledging the challenging week he had endured. New reports surfaced, revealing that his wife, Jessica Biel, was seen without her wedding ring, a clear indication of her discontent with her husband’s recent behavior. As a result, what started as a ‘bad week’ for Justin is now spiraling into a lousy month.
