Kelly Clarkson is known for her fun and vibrant personality. This week on her talk show, she showed her fans a bit of her wild side. She and country music superstar Kenny Chesney had a great time together, which included drinking rum from the bottle. During the interview, Chesney offered the American Idol alum a taste of his lime-flavored Blue Chair Bay rum. Meanwhile, it didn’t disappoint the TV personality.
During the interview, Kenny Chesney presented Kelly Clarkson with two glasses of the alcohol. However, Clarkson decided that she didn’t want her rum diluted. She decided that she could judge the real taste of the drink if it was mixed. That’s when she grabbed the bottle, unscrewed the lid, and took a swig, per The Daily Mail.

“Wait, it hasn’t been watered down, has it?” she asked. “Well, I can fix that. I want to know what it tastes like, and I can’t do it via all that [water]. I can’t!” she added.
Of course, Clarkson’s audience applauded her bold move, and loved seeing her cut loose a bit. However, after she took a shot of the alcohol, she questioned whether or not she was allowed to to it on daytime television.
“It smells nice,” she said. “I don’t know if we can do that on daytime,” she added before lifting the bottle and taking a second drink. “Oh, that is dangerous!” she quipped.
Although Kelly Clarkson has reportedly been on a strict diet amid her impressive weight loss, she didn’t seem to have any qualms about taking shots of the rum. Meanwhile, she’s reportedly looking to get back into bikini mode this summer so that she can feel comfortable about herself while vacationing and hanging out on yachts.
“She’s already done the hardest part and proved to everyone and herself she can keep the pounds off, and she doesn’t crave bad stuff anymore. Her will power is strong,” an insider tells Life and Style. “But now is the time to get into the bikini she’s been dreaming of, and she’s already getting a huge buzz pulling off this transformation.”
It appears that Kelly Clarkson is ready to embrace some fun after a tough divorce from Brandon Blackstock and her recent weight loss. Her supporters are all about her letting her hair down, and can’t wait to see what her next move will be. Perhaps she and Kenny Chesney will even become drinking buddies.
