Kendall Jenner is paying tribute to a fashion icon who paved the way! The young supermodel looked to none other than Victoria Beckham for inspiration for her latest brand campaign. This comes as no surprise, given that Jenner and Beckham have collaborated in the past.
For online shopping platform Fwrd’s fall 2024 fashion campaign, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum channeled her inner Beckham by recreating her famous leg-in-air pose. Jenner kept it fierce, rocking a simple black sweater with pantyhose and 6-inch stilettos. In the black-and-white photo, the 28-year-old sat on a leather chair and raised her left leg in the air at 45 degrees to the other. Beckham is no stranger to that pose, often using it on her social media. In another photo shoot, Kendall was topless while wearing a black lacy skirt and black pumps. She posed in a squat, cupping her breast with one hand while the other rested on her knee.
Kendall’s admiration for the Spice Girls is no secret and Beckham has often reciprocated the respect. During Beckham’s 2024 Spring/Summer womenswear fashion collection show, Kendall was one of the huge names to walk the runway, closing the show. The beautiful moment was even witnessed by the model’s mom, Kris Jenner and her sister, Kim Kardashian. Celebrating the monumental moment, Kendall gave a shout out to the English designer on Instagram. “Closing @victoriabeckham! Thank you for including me in your beautiful show VB,” she wrote.
Kendall Jenner Cried Over Her Modelling Career
Although Kendall is one of the highest paid models currently, her journey hasn’t to success hasn’t been without struggles. In a rare moment of vulnerability, she opened up about dealing with loneliness in her career in an interview with Emma Chamberlain.
“It is very lonely. I’ve had really dark nights where I’ve been in random cities and just hysterically crying myself to sleep because I haven’t been home in three months and I’ve been pretty much alone the entire time.”
Kendall admitted she often found herself questioning if her modeling career was worth all the pain. However, though mindful routines, she is able to keep herself grounded. “It really is a beautiful thing to be able to travel the world the way I have,” she said. “I feel very grateful for my experience.”
