Kourtney Kardashian has fallen under fire as a new Instagram photo promoting her Lemme lollipops proves unpopular. The reality star, 45, ramped up the lollipop action ahead of her wellness brand’s latest release on August 1, one offering fans collagen-filled lollipops that promise to make you “glow from within.”
Sharing diner photos from her Lemme shoot on social media, Kourtney sizzled in an array of figure-flaunting outfits, ones including a plunging top for a pancake-themed photo, plus a wowing latex dress. While some appeared keen to shop Lemme’s latest product, others raised eyebrows at the brand, which has been under the microscope for false advertising.
Kourtney Kardashian Promotes Lemme In New Instagram Photos
Showing off her curves following the November 2023 birth of fourth son Rocky, Kourtney struck a glam pose in a ravishing, red latex dress with a push-up effect at the chest.
Going low-cut as she reclined on a surface, the TV favorite sizzled with a revealing display, also flaunting her toned legs as she rocked a pair of black platform heels. Posing with a pink lollipop in one hand and plenty more strewn around her, Kourtney ensured her packaged product was visible, with fans seeing Lemme’s pastel purple packaging both on the sachet and wrapping the nearby lollipops.
All messy-haired as she showed off her bombshell looks, Kourtney wrote:
“I see lots of you are obsessed with the taste of our gummies and I see the requests for a candy line. Well, I didn’t do that (yet 😘) but I @lemme’d my favorite treat 🍭 Meet our limited-edition Lemme Glow Lollipops! Made with Grass-fed Collagen, Vitamin C and Cocoa Butter, these pops are my favorite when looking for a sweet little treat, made right✨Launching 08.01.”
Fans Point Out ‘False Advertising’
The photo, shared to both Kourtney’s Instagram and her Lemme one five days ago, gained likes, but it also raised eyebrows.
Fans asked what grass-fed collagen even is, with those replying saying that they thought “Kourtney was a vegan.”
“There is an article out there regarding problems with Lemme products,” another user said, with a third writing: “Lemme’s getting sued for false advertising.” Also challenging the lollipops was a fan saying: “Pro tip: your body makes its own collagen. u don’t need a cow’s collagen.”
Kourtney founded Lemme three years after the 2019 launch of her Poosh lifestyle brand. Also retailing wellness products is husband Travis Barker, who has now launched his own Baker Wellness company.
Lemme, deemed on the pricey side by some, is nonetheless popular with products including Lemme Sleep, Lemme De-Bloat, and Lemme Chill.
