Kourtney Kardashian received lukewarm feedback as she channeled her inner grunge girl while enjoying an NYC outing with husband Travis Barker. In September 2022, the 45-year-old reality star strolled the Big Apple’s streets with her Blink 182 drummer husband, doing so as the couple made headlines for pausing IVF treatments.
While Kourtney has since made headlines for naturally conceiving and welcoming son Rocky in November 2023, the comments left to the photos are still live. Kourtney, who began rocking an edgier, more gothic wardrobe as her romance with Travis progressed, still wears her glitter dresses and stiletto heels, but she’s made room for another style, one fans don’t seem to like.
Kourtney Kardashian Turns Heads In NYC With Travis Barker
Clutching Travis’ hand as the two walked down a downtown sidewalk, Kourtney turned heads in a thigh-skimming, oversized tee in gray.
Supporting her husband’s band as the pantless t-shirt came with a Blink 182 logo on it, Kourtney flashed hints of her toned legs as she added a chunky pair of black leather shoes with a platform. She also upped the ante with thigh-high legwarmers in black.
Throwing in a segmented necklace and statement shades to complete her ensemble, the Lemme founder sported her long bob tied back into a simple ponytail while wearing barely any makeup. Travis, meanwhile, wore baggy jeans and a striped shirt, showing another shirt beneath.
Horrified Fans Call The Look ‘Ridiculous’
Fans, who have criticized Kourtney’s lavish designer displays in the past, now seemed to miss the old Kourt.
“Ugh I’m so over her trying to be edgy, she didn’t dress like this before!” one user replied on The Daily Mail, with over 300 others agreeing. “A t-shirt with what else? Cut off leggings or stockings? Oh my,” another said.
Also sending the TV star the thumbs-down was a fan calling her look “ridiculous,” with a further user replying: “She has totally lost her identity since she got with Travis!“
Kourtney and Travis tied the knot in the summer of 2022. After struggling to get pregnant, they successfully welcomed their first son just over a year later. Kourtney, who dated ex Scott Disick on and off for years, shares her three children Mason, Penelope, and Reign with the Talentless founder.
Meanwhile, Travis shares kids Alabama and Landon with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. While fans have repeatedly slammed Kourtney’s style changes since she got with Travis, they do seem to think that she looks happier than ever.
Kourtney even appears to have inspired husband Travis in the business arena. While she runs her Poosh lifestyle and Lemme wellness brands, Travis has now launched his own Barker Wellness company.
