Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio wants to change his image from Sean Diddy Combs‘ close friend and favorite party guest to a more upstanding version of himself. So, while celebrating his recent 50th birthday, the actor threw himself a much milder, grownup get-together for a few of his closest Hollywood pals.
Last Saturday, Leonardo celebrated his 50th birthday with 500 or so of his closest friends. The actor went above and beyond to ensure his party was private, unlike the Diddy parties he attended.
Sources tell Page Six that the Wolf of Wallstreet star asked his 500 guests at the party to cover their phones’ cameras with stickers from Hollywood’s most exclusive members club, San Vicente Bungalows.
Leo’s guest list included Brad Pitt, Katy Perry, Steven Spielberg, Robert De Niro, Orlando Bloom, Dr. Dre, and numerous other big-name stars. Leonardo did a great job at keeping the party private and keeping security locked down. So far, no footage has been leaked from the event.
Leonardo DiCaprio Heads Up List Of Frequent Diddy Event Guests
The Daily Mail adds that Leonardo DiCaprio and his much younger girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, bailed on the celebration in the early hours. The couple left to prepare for a trip to Mexico, where Leo and Vittoria would continue his birthday celebration with his mom, Irmalin, and stepdad, David Ward.
As previously reported, Leonardo’s name is on the long list of celebrity A-List names of freak-off party guests who allegedly frequented Sean Diddy Combs events.
In a past interview, Diddy was asked who his number one party guest was, and he quickly named Leonardo as his preferred favorite. Since the rapper’s arrest in September, several celebrities have reportedly grown very nervous over being named.
Hollywood Celebs Fear Exposure
They fear their connections to Diddy may pull them into the growing legal battle that the music mogul is now facing. Many fans remain skeptical. Numerous celebrities, including Leo and Ashton, JayZ, Beyonce, and Jennifer Lopez, stated they have no connection to the alleged freak-offs.
“Leo can pretend to change his ways now, but it won’t help him. There are too many photos and video evidence to deny his relationship with Diddy. He is not fooling anyone by trying to clean up his act now,” claims one commenter.
“It is time that the feds release the full celebrity watch list. Everyone involved should be in a cell next to Diddy,” adds another.
“How desperate is DiCaprio that he is working so hard to change his image now? Can’t wait to see who else gets arrested,” states a third.
Despite Leonard DiCaprio slowing down his hard-partying ways. Some celebrities, such as Ashton Kutcher, fear that Diddy could start falsely naming names in hopes of saving himself.
So far, Diddy has yet to point his finger at any of his friends. But as his time behind bars continues to mount, who knows what desperate moves he may make.
