Ashton Kutcher reveals that in 2022, his former That 70s Show co-star and wife, Mila Kunis, banned his recreational drug use after a particularly frightening and embarrassing incident. After ten years of marriage, Ashton has clarified that Mila is in control, and what she says goes. But this time, it looks like she made the right call on this one.
Since marrying Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher has changed his lifestyle. He claims he has been sober for the past decade—well, almost. An incident two years ago forced Mila to stop using weed.
During a previous interview with Esquire magazine, Ashton revealed that during a trip to Italy, he underwent a vasectomy. Mila and Ashton were also in the country to attend a wedding.
So, to help with the discomfort from the vasectomy, Ashton thought it would be a good idea to take THC mint. However, the experience was not quite what Kutcher had hoped for, and things went from bad to worse quickly.
Ashton Kutcher admits that, over the years, he became well-known for his party-boy ways. However, things changed once he married Mila. After giving up basically all drug use, the actor felt he could still handle a little weed. However, that was not the case.
Mila Kunis Rescues Ashton Kutcher During Drug-Induced Freak Out
Once the THC mint high kicked in, Ashton claimed he had a severe issue. While at the wedding, he claims that he begins to feel very strange. He believed he had lost all sensation below his waist, leading to a full-blown freak-out.
“That s— did not go well,” Kutcher recalled the disastrous experience. Mila rushed to get her husband and leave the wedding as his panic grew. After getting him back to the hotel room, Ashton’s freak-out continued.
He reveals that he had next begun obsessing over their finances. He was sure they were going broke and couldn’t afford their lifestyle. Following a very long night for both Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, he admits that things looked a little brighter.
Embarrassed by the day’s previous events, Ashton revisited his finances the next morning to find the couple’s financial situation less dire than he initially thought. “I realized I had moved the decimal point,” he laughs.
Needless to say, despite weed being legal in California, where the couple lives, Mila has forbidden Ashton to use the drug. Considering the past year or so of drama that the spouses continue to deal with regarding the Danny Masterson fallout and now the Diddy Freak Off scandal, it looks like a good call.
If Ashton was freaking out then over a mistaken decimal point can’t image what kind of condition he would be in now especially if he finds himself in hot water over Sean Diddy Combs‘ legal issues.
