Millie Bobby Brown‘s wedding looked like a dream. The Stranger Things star married her long-time love Jake Bongiovi earlier this year. She previously gave fans a glimpse at the couple’s nuptials on Instagram with various photos. Now, she’s taken things one step further by posting unseen wedding footage from their big day.
Highlights From Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi’s Wedding
To commemorate the end of 2024, the British actress shared a video montage on Instagram highlighting some of her favorite memories from the past year. Her post was set to the 1980 song “Happy New Year” by the Swedish group ABBA. Naturally, many of the clips featured her now-husband, Jake Bongiovi, who is the son of the popular rock singer Jon Bon Jovi.
From dancing with the actor in her living room to getting a piggyback ride from him, the pair enjoyed so many sweet moments together throughout the year. However, Brown’s favorite memories with Bongiovi were from their wedding. She included so many videos from the festivities in her montage.
For example, clips showed Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi giggling while at the altar. The Enola Holmes star could also be seen lying on the dance floor in a white dress while surrounded by wedding guests. She also grabbed a handful of wedding cake in another video. Other footage showed the couple partying with their friends and family, as well as admiring fireworks together while dressed in matching white attire. “the year of mrs bongiovi 🤍,” Brown captioned her Instagram post.
Of course, fans were overjoyed to see Brown looking so in love. “Mrs bongiovi era is my fav,” one person wrote. “The most beautiful 2024 bride,” another fan gushed. “Awww cute couple,” read another comment.
They Got Married Twice
According to The Sun, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi tied the knot in the United States in May. “It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows,” a source told the publication. The couple’s parents were there to witness the ceremony. Since it was an intimate event with only a few of their loved ones in attendance, the insider said Brown and Bongiovi would hold another wedding celebration with more of their friends and family later in the year.
That’s exactly what happened. In October, the couple revealed on Instagram that they held a lavish wedding celebration in Italy. “forever and always, your wife,” Brown captioned a series of photos from their second wedding on Instagram.
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi made things official three years after they were first romantically linked in June 2021.
