Another bombshell allegation has been levied against Diddy. As the disgraced rapper remains behind bars waiting for his trial, a new lawsuit filed accused him of sexually assaulting a minor during a 2005 audition.
In the court documents, the plaintiff, identified as John Doe, claimed Diddy made him perform sexual acts in exchange for stardom. He was just ten years old at the time. The alleged victim recalled traveling to NYC with his parents in the summer of 2005 for an audition with the music mogul. He claimed Diddy wanted him to come alone, but his parents insisted on tagging along. The plaintiff alleged that he met Diddy at a hotel near Madison Square Garden, where he performed rap songs. The Bad Boys Record founder was reportedly impressed and told the boy he could make him famous.
Per court docs, the rapper proceeded to ask the minor how badly he wanted to be a star. The 10-year-old responded that he would do “anything.” Soon after, someone from Diddy’s team gave him a soda, causing him to feel a “little funny.” The plaintiff alleges that they laced the drink with GHB or ecstasy. He then says Diddy pulled him close and told him, “You have to do some stuff you don’t want to do sometimes.” The musician allegedly forced the victim to perform oral sex, after which he passed out.
Diddy Denies Allegations, But Fans Think It’s ‘Just The Beginning’
The lawsuit, filed by Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee, claimed the plaintiff found his pants undone when he woke. According to the John Doe, he was sexually assaulted. Upon realizing this, he called for his parents, but Diddy threatened to harm them if he told them what happened. The docs alleged the victim eventually told his parents, but they were too frightened to come forward. The plaintiff, who allegedly battles night terrors due to the trauma, is seeking damages.
Diddy’s legal team has since denied all allegations. “The lawyer behind this lawsuit is interested in media attention rather than the truth, as is obvious from his constant press appearances and 1-800 number,” they told TMZ. Unfortunately, fans online don’t believe the record executive. “This is still just the beginning,” remarked one fan. Another wrote, “Diddy is going to go down in history as being worse than Bill Cosby or any of the others.” A third frustrated Reddit user asked, “How much worse is this going to get?”
The damaging accusation is the latest in a string of accusations Buzbee is bringing against Diddy.
