North West is itching to follow in the footsteps of her parents and dominate Hollywood. The daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian recently made her magazine feature debut. While chatting with her mom and answering questions about her life, the tween dropped a major bombshell about her thoughts on education.
When Kim asked, “What’s your favorite class?” North answered, “I don’t like school.” The SKIMS founder pushed, asking about art class, but the 11-year-old was adamant about not liking education. “I do not like art,” she insisted before explaining, “I like art, but my art class is very annoying. My favorite class is probably Latin.” Further expressing her disinterest, North recalled a moment she wanted to escape from school. When asked what superpower she would like to possess, the eldest West child declared to Interview Magazine:
“I always wanted to pause time. When I was in class one day last year, I was like, ‘I want to pause time and get all my work done, and then run out of class and go to Starbucks, and then go around to Japan and then go everywhere.'”
North West Feels Like She Already Does ‘A Lot’
The questions continued with Kim asking her daughter the famous question of what she wants to be when she grows up. “I don’t know,” North replied. “Because I already do a lot of stuff that I want to be when I grow up. I just want to pursue my careers now.” It is no surprise North feels this way. In June, she made headlines for making her musical debut at the Hollywood Bowl for the 30th anniversary of Lion King. She performed as Young Simba, singing I Just Can’t Wait to Be King.
North West also announced her debut album, Elementary School Dropout, in March. While it seems inspiring to have such a thriving career, fans think it’s too intense for an 11-year-old. “Why is North West on the cover of Interview?” asked one fan. “This girl doesn’t need a magazine spread; she needs a therapist.” A second comment read, “Don’t know, but it feels very weird how that family promotes her.“
