Some of the pictures were of Rachel Zegler and Kit Connor hanging out together behind the scenes of Romeo + Juliet. They looked cute in matching grey crewneck sweaters. One photo featured the pair twinning while Connor took a mirror selfie of them together. Another picture showed the Heartstopper star seamlessly carrying Zegler over his shoulder as she gave the camera a thumbs-up.
Most fans had only positive things to say about Rachel Zegler’s Instagram post. However, one person criticized her for appearing too attached to her co-star. “I think Rachel is so obsessed with Kit Connor in a romantic way not just a friend way,” someone commented.
Zegler wasted no time clapping back. “no! moving on,” she wrote.
Fans praised the star for standing up for herself. “I’m so tired of people saying you and Kit like each other romantically,” one person said. “you guys just have a really good friendship!!!”

Rachel Zegler and Kit Connor are currently starring as the eponymous star-crossed lovers in Broadway’s Romeo + Juliet. The show began previews on Thursday, Sept. 26. However, it officially premiered a month later on Thursday, Oct. 24. According to the Broadway website, performances will run until February 2025.
