Putting on a smile at the NY Film Festival as she repped her new movie, the 32-year-old flaunted her whittled-down silhouette in a stunning black dress, one quickly turning heads as it showcased her weight loss.
While Selena gained support for making a public appearance amid her recent reveal that she can’t carry children, some couldn’t help but comment on her size. The “Wolves” hitmaker, who suffers from the autoimmune condition Lupus, has mostly proven a talking point for embracing her fluctuating weight this past year. Now, The Daily Mail is saying that her figure is “shrinking,” with fans gasping that she lost “so much weight.”

Looking incredible in a crepe gown in black, Selena chose designer Vera Wang while channeling romantic fashion vibes.
Rocking a long dress with a cinched waist and figure-hugging fabrics, the Rare Beauty founder flaunted her curves and teeny waist, also drawing the eye to her hips as she wore silk fabrics and ruched accents around the chest.
The dress came adorned with a big bow at the back, racy straps, and a shoulder-baring finish. Channeling Kim K vibes with her black opera gloves, Selena completed her look with Giuseppe Zanotti heels, plus diamond jewelry from Tiffany & Co. She wore her hair tied back, showing off her rosy cheeks and a much slimmer face.
Lost ‘So Much Weight’ As Fans Worry
Some didn’t comment on Selena’s shape. “Selena one of the best looks in a long time,” one fan wrote as a fan account on Instagram shared Selena’s look.
That said, another gasped that the Tean had lost “so much weight,” with a fan on The Daily Mail noting: “Sometimes she’s gained weight and others she’s tiny.”
Selena had, in January 2024, bravely addressed her fluctuating weight, telling her social media followers that she would “never look this way again” while sharing side-by-side photos of herself taken ten years apart.
Mindful of the star’s Lupus condition, a further user noted: “She looks different every time you see her. It must be incredibly hard to go through an illness and watch your body change so much.”
Of those remarking on the pop star’s shape, a few wondered if she might have jumped aboard the Ozempic train. Also suspected to have taken the weight loss drug are stars including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Christina Aguilera.
