Sofia Vergara dazzled in her 2024 Emmys dress, making instant headlines for her look and largely gaining praise for her style choice. While many approved of the 52-year-old’s plunging red dress as she rocked luxury designer Dolce & Gabbana, some raised eyebrows at the look — not specifically slamming it, but complaining that Sofia “always” wears the “same” thing.
When Just Jared shared photos of Sofia’s Sunday evening outfit, fans rushed to comment, with one of the most-liked replies shading the actress for allegedly being “boring.” Sofia had gone eye-popping in a plunging, floor-length gown, one shared to her Instagram as she shared red carpet photos, plus BTS moments. She even included a selfie with America’s Got Talent co-judge Heidi Klum.

Dazzling in a low-cut, bright red dress with structured, seashell-like cups, Sofia highlighted her famous curves tastefully, drawing the eye from her chest to her toned waistline.
Rocking slightly ruched fabrics around a paneled bodice, the Modern Family favorite dropped jaws with her glamorous train gown, one hugging her curvaceous frame and sending out swanky bombshell vibes.
Rocking a slight wave to her locks and wearing her hair down, Sofia glammed up with a matte layer of foundation and warming blush, adding tan eyeshadow, a lick of mascara, plus a defined brow. The mom of one tagged Cartier for her earrings in her Instagram post, although reports elsewhere confirmed that her ring jewelry was from Lorraine Schwartz.
Complaints Her Looks Are ‘Boring’
In a caption tagging Sofia at the Peacock Theater in L.A., Just Jared wrote: “Sofia Vergara is red hot in Dolce & Gabanna on the red carpet at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards.”
Quickly gaining likes was a fan stirring the pot as they wrote “She always wears the same boring dresses.” Over 50 fans agreed. Gaining slightly fewer likes, and also shaming the actress, was a fan saying: “She doesn’t impress anymore.”
Fortunately, those seeing the damning comments jumped in to defend the Toty founder. “And she looks stunning always,” one fan retorted. Another, meanwhile said:
“Looking at such a gorgeous woman who has achieved so much for herself and leaving a negative comment regarding her choice of clothing…I feel genuinely sorry for you. You should try supporting and uplifting other women, might actually help you feel better for yourself.”
Sofia was nominated for two awards in the context of her Griselda Netflix series last night, but walked away empty-handed.
Also making headlines for her winner style was Friends actress Jennifer Aniston. Sofia may well have chosen Dolce & Gabbana on account of being signed to the high-end Italian designer.
