Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce appear to be going strong. The couple recently celebrated their one-year dating anniversary and spent much of the summer traveling the world together. However, as the summer begins to wind down, things are changing for Swift and Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is now back with his team, preparing for the upcoming seasons. Meanwhile, the singer is still spanning the globe on her Eras tour. While many fans appear to be happy for the duo, one fellow celebrity isn’t holding out hope for a happy ending.
Recently, TV personality Bill Maher shared his thoughts and opinions about Taylor Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce. Maher stated on his Club Randon podcast that he believes the power couple are doomed, and that they won’t be making it to the finish line.

“I’m sure she’s a lovely person, but the whole thing with the football player,” Maher said. “I just felt like 35 was a little old to be like, ‘My boyfriend’s a football player, and I wear his jersey to the game with his number on it!’ I mean, come on.”
“He’s gonna dump her, though, You know that? With her, it’s like the Gatorade at the Super Bowl, you know you’re gonna get dumped. You just don’t know when,” Maher continued.
In addition, Bill Maher claimed that he believed Swift’s habit of writing songs and singing about all of her ex-boyfriends has become “very tacky.” Instead, he suggested that the singer try a different path in her career.
“It does seem like such a recurrent theme,” he claimed. “At some point, you just wanna say, maybe you should write a song called ‘Maybe It’s Me.’”
Of course, fans jumped to defend Taylor Swift from Maher’s comments, and many weren’t happy.
“No one GAF what Bill has to say. He’s a creepy bitter old man,” one person tweeted.
“Misogynistic take on a woman, her career, and her relationship; which, by the way, he knows nothing about. He’s spewing hate for the clicks. Trash all around but trash will take itself out every time,” another Swiftie declared.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce appear to be committed to their relationship. They seem to spend as much time together as possible and look to be happy in each other’s company. Despite Bill Maher’s opinions, many fans are rooting for the pair to be endgame.
