Making headlines for throwing it back to old-school Britney Spears style, Taylor showed off her long, toned legs in a stylish, slightly flared minidress in multi-tonal denim.
Going sleeveless as she braved a low neckline, the “Fornight” hitmaker stunned in a corset-like bodice, with a slightly flirty skirt half adding more shades of blue. Showing off her trim waistline as she highlighted her curves, Taylor rocked thin straps that accentuated her shoulders, then jazzing things up via her accessories.
Adding height to her frame in a chunky, glittery pair of silver high heels, Tay-Tay coordinated her platform shoes with her glitter-covered purse, adding silver bangle jewelry and rings to offset her gold necklaces. Also photographed exiting the MTV VMAs establishment were fellow music faces Selena Gomez and Saweetie.
Fans Think It’s Giving ‘High School’
While many users expressed envy over Taylor’s legs, the singer fell under fire in other areas. Multiple users slammed her hairstyle, with one fan calling it “unfortunate.”
Others, however, went for the ensemble. Over 60 fans agreed when a user mocked the billionaire and wrote: “Why does Taylor always look like she is dressed for a high school event.” Another fan, who was reacting to photos that also included Rare Beauty founder Selena and rapper Saweetie, likened all three ladies to “15” year-olds.
Low-key slamming Swift’s style, a further fan said: “The only thing Taylor has got is very long legs. Without those, she would probably be just another, say, supermarket check-out girl.”
Taylor has made major style headlines since. Shortly before this year’s MTV VMAs, the pop star stepped out in a monogrammed Gucci minidress with NFL player boyfriend Travis Kelce, who also came outfitted in apparel bearing the Gucci logo. Rumors quickly swirled that the power couple had been paid millions just to don the outfit.
