Jared Padalecki is best known for his role on the long-running TV show Supernatural. However, Sam Winchester may now be taking on some corrupt superheroes. The Boys showrunner, Eric Kripke, recently stated that he would love to have Padalecki on the show. There have already been some Supernatural alums making an appearance. Jensen Ackles played an important character in the latest season of the show, and Jeffery Dean Morgan is set to join the cast for the upcoming season.
According to Us Weekly, Eric Kripke wants to “complete his game of Supernatural Pokemon.” However, Kripke still has one very big name to get on board. Although, the question is, does Peadalecki have the time? The actor would join many familiar faces and would fit the grittiness of the show well. Padalecki’s recent show, Walker, was just canceled, so it would be the perfect time for the actor to join The Boys universe.
Jared Padalecki Would Be a Perfect Fit for The Boys
“Howdy, y’all. It is with a heavy heart that I share this news with you. #Walker will not be airing on #CW for a fifth season,” the actor captioned a photo of his cowboy hat. “It’s a tough piece of news, to be sure, but we are SO thankful for the #WalkerFamily that has been built, both on set and off.”
Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles have a great relationship and have remained close friends since the final season of Supernatural. Ackles might be the icing on the cake for Padalecki to join the show.
However, Jensen’s character, Soldier Boy, was put back into a deep sleep at the end of the most recent season. Although, the character is not dead and could easily come back.
Fans would love to see Jared Padalecki in The Boys. A reunion with his Supernatural family could bring in a whole new set of viewers as well. Will Padalsecki take the role? Fans are dying to know.
