From their split in 2019 following Thompson’s fling with Kylie Jenner’s former BFF Jordyn Woods to their reconnection in 2020 to give their daughter True Thompson a chance at a complete family, it’s been a whirlwind ride.
Although the pair eventually broke up again in June last year, they seem like anything but exes. For one, the former couple spends time co-parenting their daughter, making them seem inseparable. Additionally, Tristan has made it clear he had no intention of giving up on the reality star. However, after spending over a year trying to win her over, it seems the NBA star finally accepted his fate.
Tristan Thompson And Khloe Kardashian Are Done For Good
Speaking to HollywoodLife, a source confirmed that Tristan Thompson abandoned his quest to win back Khloe Kardashian. According to the source, the athlete, who spent months trying to get back together, appeared to give up on his advances, to his ex’s relief.
“It seems like he’s finally given up on trying to win her back, which is a huge relief for Khloe because it was very draining for her. All she wants is for them to be healthy and happy co-parents,” the insider claimed.
The source also revealed that the reality star had already decided to forgive Tristan’s previous wrongdoings. She saw no point in hanging on to the anger and negativity and hoped her family would let go as well. Despite the media personality’s willingness to let his previous errors slide, she remained unwilling to budge, with the source confirming them “100% done for good.”
Khloe Would Always Love Her Ex
Although a relationship between Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson is unlikely, they would always hold a special place in each other’s hearts. Aside from their responsibility to their kids, a source claimed the model found it hard to let go of her love for him, saying:
“Khloe will always love Tristan. No one understands what it is about him and, considering all of the pain he caused, it just makes no sense.”
The socialite demonstrated the extent of her love for her ex-partner when she decided to welcome a second child with him long after their split. They went public with their expectant-parents status earlier this month, revealing they conceived a sibling for True via surrogate.
Fans received the news with mixed feelings, most congratulating the couple while others condemned their decision. Notwithstanding, Khloe Kardashian seems excited and convinced she did the right thing by making Tristan the father of her second baby.
