Zach Bryan is currently one of the hottest country artists in the world. However, the singer recently had to humble himself in order to apologize to Taylor Swift for a drunken tweet. The Tweet was reportedly about Swift and her long-time rival, Kanye West. Although some backlash was to be expected, Bryan ended up deleting his Twitter completely due to the Swift fans. The Swifties are clearly not to be messed with.
According to People, the tweet read, “Eagles > Chiefs, Kanye > Taylor.” The 28-year-old continued by asking his fans, “Who’s with me?” While Zach Bryan deleted his Twitter account, his Instagram account remained intact. It was there where he posted a few Kanye West songs on his story. Although the singer would apologize to Taylor Swift via another Instagram story. Zach stated that “it came out wrong.”
Zach Bryan Apologizes to Taylor Swift
“For the record, guys, I wasn’t coming for Taylor the other night,” Bryan began, sharing that he was listening to the single “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone from Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. “I was drunkenly comparing two records and it came out wrong. I know there’s a lot of stuff that clouds around Ye, and I was speaking purely musically. I love Taylor’s music and pray you guys know I’m human and tweet stupid things often. Hope one day I can explain this to her. Twitter gets me in trouble too much and I’d say it’s best I stay off it. I’m sorry to any Taylor fans I pi***d off or let down. Love you guys, and I’m trying my best!”
Swift’s fans are not ones to take things lightly if it concerns their favorite singer. However, Bryan seems to be genuinely sorry for his actions. After his apology, things may simmer down a little bit.
Taylor Swift and Zach Bryan are both huge names in the music industry. The two most likely have more important things to do than sit around and argue online. However, the same thing can’t be said about their fans. It seems like the storm has passed, though, at least for now.
